Development Log
Season 21 · No Reset
The living roadmap of ORION MU — what is built, what is in testing, and what comes next.
ORION MU Development Roadmap
This is the living record of ORION MU — what has been built, what is being tested, and where the project is headed. ORION is a long-term Season 21 experience: permanent characters, party-driven progression, and an economy where effort matters more than wallet size.
ORION is past the initial build phase. The server core, world content, reward systems, and player documentation are in place — the focus now is verification, balance, and real-player feedback before launch.
Everything in ORION starts here: a clear identity as a no-reset Season 21 server with fair pacing and permanent character growth.
Foundation & Core Vision
CompleteORION MU was built on a single promise: no character resets. Your level, master level, and stats stay with you permanently across a full Season 21 journey.
The server runs on both Regular and BattleCore channels. Progression uses a dynamic EXP system that shifts through Normal, Master, and Majestic stages — so early game, mid game, and endgame each feel distinct rather than one flat rate.
Economy design in ORION favors earned progression over shortcuts — medium drop pacing, intentional rewards, and a shop that saves time without selling power.
Progression & Economy
CompleteReward boxes were customized for ORION instead of using generic defaults. Silver and Gold Medals received full pool rebuilds with valid early and mid-game gear — important on a server where starter equipment still matters months in.
Drop and zen rules were locked to a medium-rate experience. No VIP exp or drop bonuses — paying does not buy rate advantages. Shop buffs were capped at +10% EXP per seal and pet (~20% combined), with Bless of Light kept farmable only.
ORION's world is built to be lived in — structured farming spots, a full endgame map chain, and an invasion progression that guides players from Lorencia to the highest zones.
World, Maps & Invasions
CompleteThe full endgame map chain is open — from early zones through Aquila's Temple, including Kardamahal, Abyss of Atlas, Scorched Canyon, Ignis Volcano, and more. MiniMap spot markers help parties navigate endgame maps.
A custom spot system keeps farming balanced: 6 mobs on normal spots, 8 on hotspots. 745 wandering monsters across 49 maps make the world feel alive and keep hunting fair during invasions.
ORION's invasion path runs from low-level map events (White Sheep, Ice Queen, Gorgon, Balrog, Hydra, Zaikan) through Elemental Sheep, Snake, and Rooster tiers — plus classic invasions like Red Dragon, Skeleton King, Golden Invasion, and White Wizard.
Events and drops were rebuilt to support long-term no-reset progression — less inflation, more meaningful rewards at every stage.
Events & Reward Systems
Live — VerifyingThe hourly event rotation is active with daily limits: Blood Castle, Devil Square, Chaos Castle, Doppelganger, plus Imperial Guardian and Boss Battle Together.
Event rewards were rebalanced to reduce mastery box inflation and shift toward Ruud, ancients, miracle coins, harmony materials, and endgame items. Invasion drops for Balrog, Hydra, Zaikan, and Sheep tiers were rebuilt with ORION-designed loot.
The medal and box ecosystem was overhauled: Kundun boxes give more items per open, Box of Heaven became a zen and jewel source, Heart of Love expanded with shields, and world event drops for medals and boxes were activated.
Players should know exactly what to expect. ORION's website now reflects the live server — not placeholders, not guesses.
Website, Guides & Transparency
PublishedThe Server Info page was rebuilt with accurate progression tables, event schedules, invasion times, and a clear Closed Beta notice.
The full ORION Guides wiki went live — Getting Started, Progression, Events, Drops, Economy, PvP, and Systems — with real reward data from the live server.
X Shop Phase 1 launched with a minimal verified catalog: Seals, Seal of Healing, Pet Panda, and Pet Skeleton. A shop purchase issue was identified and resolved — in-game buying works with the new prices. Extensive quality review was performed across events, invasions, drops, and website content.
ORION MU is in Closed Beta. The core experience is playable, but balance, economy, and content are still being tested and adjusted. Rankings may include test characters; some shop items may not represent the final release.
Closed Beta & Testing
In ProgressBeta testing runs with manual test accounts and open Discord feedback channels. The team is moving from building the server to proving it with real players — most systems exist; the focus is verification and closing remaining gaps before launch.
Feedback on invasions, spots, event balance, and class performance is actively welcomed. Thank you to everyone helping shape ORION during this phase.
