The shop breathes again
In-game purchases broke after a shop update. We fixed it, trimmed the catalog to a handful of
trusted items, and made sure buying works again before adding anything else.
What changed
- In-game purchases work again
- Shop limited to seals, healing seal, and companion pets during beta
- Reset items, level packs, and pay-to-win shortcuts removed from the catalog
What this means for you
The shop is intentionally small. You can buy convenience — not months of skipped progression.

Closed Beta begins
We opened the gates knowing not everything would be perfect. Closed Beta is when real players
show us what holds up over time — and your voice on Discord shapes what ORION becomes at launch.
What changed
- Closed Beta notice published across the website and Server Info page
- Discord opened for balance feedback, bug reports, and honest impressions
What this means for you
What you play today is real ORION — still being shaped by the community playing it.

Building
Events & rewards pass
On a NO RESET server, rewards cannot go stale after a few weeks. We reshaped what events and invasions
give you — less box clutter, more gear and materials that still matter months into your journey.
What changed
- Blood Castle, Devil Square, Chaos Castle, Doppelganger, Boss Battle Together, and Lucky Coin now feed long-term progression
- Invasion bosses from early maps through elemental tiers drop rewards worth farming at your current stage
- Medals, boxes, and open-world drops reworked so farming stays meaningful, not forgotten after day three
What this means for you
Every event run and invasion clear should still feel worth your time at mid-game and endgame —
not just the first week after launch.

Documenting
Opening the books
Players should never have to guess how ORION works. We rebuilt the Server Info page with honest data,
published the full Guides wiki, and filled it with what you actually encounter in-game —
events, drops, invasions, and progression from first login to endgame.
What changed
- Server Info updated with progression overview, event schedules, invasion times, and Closed Beta notice
- ORION Guides launched — Getting Started through Systems, with Events, Drops, and Invasions filled in
- Guide content kept honest: when something changes in-game, the pages change too
What this means for you
Info tells you what ORION is. Guides teach you how to play. This Journal tells you how we got here.

Testing
Fair fights without resets
PvP on a no-reset server cannot depend on wipe-and-rebuild balance. We added progression-based
PvP stages with fair gear limits, protected Lorencia spawn for new players, and tested every class
at multiple stages of growth.
What changed
- Five PvP stages with gear limits so duels stay fair within your progression tier
- Lorencia spawn protected so newcomers are not ambushed on arrival
What this means for you
Ranked duels match you with players at a similar stage. Cross-stage fights stay friendly-only.
PvP balance is still being refined during beta.

The world opens
This was the week ORION became a place you could stay. We opened the road from Lorencia to
Aquila’s Temple, filled the maps with life, and built an invasion path that grows with your party.
What changed
- Endgame maps through Aquila’s Temple — including Kardamahal — opened for long-term progression
- Hunting grounds tuned so full parties cannot dominate entire maps by over-pulling
- Wandering monsters and invasion chains from classic bosses through elemental Sheep, Snake, and Rooster tiers
What this means for you
A clear path from Lorencia to endgame. Invasions that escalate with your party.
A living world built for groups that stay together for months — not days.

Building
Designing an economy that respects your time
We started with small steps — reworking a lucky box here, a seasonal reward there — and quickly
learned that default Season 21 rewards were never built for characters that never reset.
ORION needed its own economy from the ground up.
What changed
- Reward boxes and medals rebuilt with gear that still matters in early and mid progression
- Fair drop and zen pacing for long-term play — no VIP rate advantages, Bless of Light farmable only
- Shop stripped of reset items and power-skip shortcuts; convenience capped, not progression sold
What this means for you
Paying saves time on convenience — not on skipping months of legitimate growth.
Every stage of your character’s life has rewards worth chasing.

Laying the foundation
Before maps, before invasions, before any public page — we brought ORION online with one rule
baked in from the first login: your character never resets.
What changed
- Season 21 online with Regular and BattleCore channels
- Progression through Normal, Master, and Majestic stages — each phase of the journey feels distinct
- Offline leveling for players who cannot always be at the keyboard; daily limits on major events
What this means for you
Everything built afterward follows one promise: your character keeps growing. No wipes. No shortcuts.

Why ORION exists
ORION MU was founded on a single idea: Season 21 as a long-term home, not a race to reset.
Medium pacing, permanent characters, party-driven progression, and an economy where effort
outweighs wallet size.
What changed
- NO RESET chosen as the core identity — not a marketing label
- Fair shop design from day one: convenience without pay-to-win shortcuts
What this means for you
Built for players who want one character to matter for the entire season — and beyond.
“We are not building another reset server with a fresh coat of paint.”
